Matchups We Love
QB Bo Nix
With three straight finishes outside the top-12 at the QB position, some fantasy managers might avoid Bo Nix this week. However, Nix is a strong QB1 play against a Commanders defense that has struggled in recent weeks. Washington has given up a top-12 fantasy QB finish in five of its last six games and currently ranks 29th in fantasy points allowed per game to the position.
RB RJ Harvey
Rookies always seem to get a usage boost after the bye. Considering the Broncos just had their bye in Week 12, RJ Harvey could be poised for a breakout game against the Commanders in Week 13. Washington has given up the sixth-most fantasy points to the RB position through 12 weeks and has allowed a 100-yard rusher in three of its last five games. So, Harvey is a solid RB2 option this weekend.

Broncos WRs
Both Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin should be in most lineups this week. The Commanders have struggled against opposing WRs this year, allowing the third-most fantasy points and second-most receiving yards to the position. So, Sutton could be in store for a bounce-back game after a few weeks of struggles, and Franklin should carry his recent strong play into this matchup. Both are solid WR3 options.
Matchups We Hate
With Jayden Daniels (elbow) still nursing his elbow injury, Marcus Mariota is set to make another start in Week 13. Although Mariota has finished as a top-12 fantasy QB in back-to-back games, he will be an extremely risky QB2 play this week against the Broncos. Denver has allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing QBs through 12 weeks.
Chris Rodriguez Jr. has seemed to take over this Washington backfield. He played a season-high 45% of the team's offensive snaps before the team's bye and carried the ball 15 times for 79 yards. While those numbers are a great sign for Rodriguez for the rest of the season, he will be a risky flex play this week. The Broncos have allowed the fourth-fewest fantasy points to RBs.
Commanders WRs
Terry McLaurin will return from his quad injury in Week 13. He has played just one game since Week 4 and has been a very disappointing WR to own throughout the year. In his return, he will face a Broncos secondary that will also be getting back All-Pro corner Patrick Surtain II. So, McLaurin is a risky WR play this week.

As for Deebo Samuel Sr., he is a lower-end WR3 in this game. The Broncos' defense doesn't allow many big plays through the air and has let up just two receiving touchdowns to the WR position all year.
Other Notable Matchups
TE Zach Ertz
Zach Ertz has done just enough in recent weeks that fantasy managers can roll with him as a TE1 in some 14-plus team leagues. He has caught at least four passes in four straight games and just recently finished as the overall TE14 in the team's Week 11 game against the Dolphins. The good news for Ertz is that Travis Kelce just scored 24.1 PPR fantasy points against this Denver defense a few weeks ago.
