Atlanta D/ST Viable in Expected Low-Scoring Matchup Vs. Saints
The Atlanta Falcons defense/special teams gets a favorable matchup in Week 12 against the Saints, an offense that has provided the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing fantasy defenses through 11 weeks of the season. Saints quarterback Tyler Shough has thrown a couple of picks during his two and a half games played, but it is the sacks that will carry the Falcons defense to relevance, having totaled 18 sacks over the last three games despite missing some pieces on defense. The team will again be without S Billy Bowman Jr. (Achilles) and DL Zach Harrison (knee), but with one of the lowest projected totals on the slate (40.5), there may not be a ton of offense in this one, which bodes well for Atlanta's defense. The squad projects as a top 12 unit this week on the road in New Orleans.
