Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 11:

Parker Washington, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington (hamstring) has been cleared to play in Week 11 against the visiting Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday despite not putting in a full practice all week. Washington was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday due to a hamstring injury before being limited on Thursday and Friday.

With Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) missing the Week 10 loss to the Houston Texans, Washington caught three of his seven targets for 33 yards and his second touchdown of the season while also returning a kick for a score on special teams. The 23-year-old's role will be elevated for the rest of 2025 with rookie Travis Hunter (knee) done for the season, and Washington has developed some nice chemistry with quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

However, with Thomas potentially returning this weekend and the newly acquired Jakobi Meyers also being more involved in his second game, Washington becomes a little less attractive as a PPR WR4/flex.

Kimani Vidal, RB, Los Angeles Chargers

Los Angeles Chargers running back Kimani Vidal had a big workload last week, with a 93% snap share and 25 carries for 95 yards and a touchdown. This week, however, he faces a challenging Jacksonville Jaguars defense that has become a significant pass-funnel, allowing the third-fewest rushing yards and only six rushing touchdowns all season.

Jacksonville is good at preventing big plays, allowing zero rushes of 40 yards or more. With Hassan Haskins (hamstring) and Omarion Hampton (ankle) still on IR, Vidal's heavy usage as the lead back gives him a steady floor.

Still, his production mainly depends on the Chargers building an early lead. Due to the Jaguars' tough run defense, Vidal is downgraded to a low-end RB2 this week, projected as RB20.

Aaron Jones Sr., RB, Minnesota Vikings

Running back Aaron Jones Sr. (shoulder/toe) of the Minnesota Vikings does not appear on the Week 11 injury report and should be considered an RB2 option when his team plays host to NFC North rival Chicago on Sunday. Since the veteran returned from a hamstring injury that required a stint on injured reserve, he has clearly been the favored option over backfield mate Jordan Mason.

Jones played more than 70% of the team's offense snaps against Baltimore in Week 10, and he's shown he can help managers even when the offense is struggling. Despite a sloppy overall game last week, Jones still managed 47 rushing yards and a touchdown on nine carries, and three catches for 22 yards.

Jones already has a steady role in a decent offense, but there is some added potential this week against a Bears defense that has been middling against fantasy running backs.

DK Metcalf, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf has been incredibly quiet over the past two weeks, but he'll look to get back on track against the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11. Cincinnati has been middle-of-the-pack against fantasy wideouts overall, though they've been notably tough on opposing WR1s lately.

Still, it is difficult to overlook the potential for a shootout, as this contest carries one of the highest projected point totals of the week. While Pittsburgh's tight ends are likely to get involved, Metcalf remains the clear top target for quarterback Aaron Rodgers and should see frequent usage on Sunday, especially if both offenses are trading scores.

There is plenty of risk associated with starting Metcalf, but he offers a strong amount of upside as a low-end fantasy WR2 against the Bengals.

Emari Demercado, RB, Arizona Cardinals

Arizona Cardinals running back Emari Demercado continues to operate out of a backfield committee, but he still has appeal as an RB3/flex in most fantasy leagues. Demercado and Bam Knight have been the primary options out of the backfield in Arizona, while Michael Carter also gets occasionally involved.

While Knight has typically handled more volume, Demercado has looked better in most games, including last week when he had four carries, 64 rushing yards, three catches, and 40 receiving yards. He's averaging 10.8 fantasy points (PPR) in every game where he has played at least one-third of the offensive snaps.

He also owns an impressive average of 8.96 YPC, which is similar to his 9.29 YPC from last year. Fantasy managers should deploy Demercado as an RB3/flex, but they should also be aware that he has a low floor if he handles a smaller workload than usual.
