Jerry Jeudy on the Rise with Play-Calling Switch?
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was ecstatic to be involved early and often in last weekend's loss to the New York Jets, crediting the team's new play-caller with his success. "I think Tommy just put me in a great position to be able to make those plays," Jeudy claimed via Akron Beacon Journal's Chris Easterling. "Yeah, I think that's what it is. I was just in the right position." Head coach Kevin Stefanski indeed relinquished play-calling duties to offensive coordinator Tommy Rees ahead of Week 10's outing. For one game, at least, it made an impact, as the sixth-year pro snagged his first touchdown of the campaign while also notching his first appearance with more than five grabs. Jeudy's value is largely tied to rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel's output, though things are looking up ahead of their matchup with a recently stingy Baltimore Ravens defense.
