Aaron Jones Sr. Emerging as the Lead Back in Minnesota
Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones Sr. has been limited to just five games played this season due to a hamstring injury that sidelined him from Week 3 to Week 7. However, the 30-year-old has been productive since returning to the lineup. Over his last two games, Jones Sr. has recorded 167 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown on 23 total touches. Perhaps most importantly, Jones Sr. appears to be re-emerging as Minnesota's lead back. In Week 10, Jones Sr. played 71% of the Vikings' offensive snaps, compared to just 25% for fellow running back Jordan Mason. Jones Sr. also saw a season-high six targets in Week 10. Heading into a favorable Week 11 matchup against the Chicago Bears, Jones Sr. profiles as a solid fantasy RB2.
