Dereck Lively II Expected to Return Next Week
Dallas Mavericks center Dereck Lively II (knee) will miss at least two more games. Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd has ruled Lively II until next week, meaning he won't be available for the team's upcoming back-to-back set against Memphis and Washington. Due to a right knee sprain, Lively II has already sat out five contests. With Anthony Davis (calf) also sidelined, Dallas has leaned on Daniel Gafford in the middle. He's done solid work, but the team has limited Gafford's workload to 25 minutes since he just recently returned from an ankle injury.
