Michael Brennan Aims to Extend Fairytale Start at El Cardonal
Michael Brennan earned a sponsor exemption into the Bank of Utah Championship in October, marking his first career start on the PGA Tour, and he made the most of it. Brennan dominated the event, winning by four strokes and securing his PGA Tour membership in the process. He'll look to continue his incredible story at the World Wide Technology Championship, held at El Cardonal. The 7,452-yard par-72 layout features wide fairways that reward long hitters, allowing Brennan to fully showcase his power. In his victory, he averaged 319.4 yards off the tee with an 89.29% driving accuracy rate, gained +0.511 strokes on approach per round, and was exceptional on the greens, gaining +1.347 strokes putting with just one three-putt all week. Those strengths will be key once again in Mexico. Priced at $9,000 on DraftKings, Brennan presents an impressive profile with clear upside, but also carries plenty of risk, given it's only his second career start.
