Daily NBA Prop Bets - Top Player Props, Value Picks and Quick Odds (10/25/25)

Devin Booker - NBA DFS Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball, Value Plays

Keith Eyster's top NBA prop bets for 10/25/25: expert player-prop picks, value plays, quick model edges and line-shopping tips for today’s slate. Check odds & get the edge.

Welcome back to another edition of the RotoBaller NBA props article! We’ve got some big shoes to fill today after Thunder Dan Palyo absolutely crushed it yesterday, cashing five of seven bets. He’s been well ahead of the oddsmakers on the breakout of Kyshawn George, who exploded for 34 points on his 11.5-point prop. Let’s see if we can uncover a few more edges on tonight’s slate.

It’s a smaller, five-game card to kick off the weekend, and we’re dealing with our first night featuring multiple back-to-backs. The Magic, Hawks, Grizzlies, and Suns are all playing their second game in as many nights. We’ll also have to monitor some key injury situations, particularly with the Thunder and Pacers, as we sort through the best betting opportunities.

In this article, I will provide my favorite NBA player props picks for Saturday, October 25th. Prop picks can range from individual stats such as points, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, or defensive stats as well as combination props (Points + Rebounds + Assists = PRA). All odds and sportsbooks used are listed as well, but always shop around as those odds change throughout the day as bets come in. Let's get to the picks!

Today’s Best NBA Prop Bets & Player Props

Early-season NBA player props present a prime opportunity for bettors to get ahead of oddsmakers, capitalizing on new trends, unexpected rotations, and shifts in play style from last season. With teams still settling into their identities, sharp bettors can often find mispriced lines before the markets adjust.

Let’s take a look at the top player props for today’s NBA slate:

Bennedict Mathurin over 20.5 Points (-108 FD)

Despite a mounting list of injuries, the Pacers pushed the defending champion Thunder to double overtime in their season opener before ultimately falling 141–135. Bennedict Mathurin was electric in the loss, posting 36 points and 11 rebounds, with 32 of those points coming in regulation. Indiana is already shorthanded without Tyrese Haliburton and T.J. McConnell, and things got worse when Andrew Nembhard left the opener with a shoulder injury and did not return.

With Nembhard ruled out for Saturday’s matchup against the Grizzlies, Mathurin is set up for another huge role as the focal point of Indiana’s offense. He logged a 28.8% usage rate in the opener — second only to Pascal Siakam — and should again handle a massive scoring load. The matchup also plays in his favor: Memphis ranks second in pace through two games after leading the league last season, creating the kind of up-tempo environment where Mathurin thrives. Given the volume, efficiency, and game environment, he’s a strong target to go over 20.5 points once again.

Devin Booker over 25.5 Points (+100 FD)

With Jalen Green sidelined to start the season, Devin Booker is once again set to carry a massive scoring load for the Suns. Through the first two games, he’s posted an elite 30.1% usage rate — a number that is unlikely to drop anytime soon. Saturday’s matchup in Denver presents a tough challenge, as the Suns face a back-to-back after being blown out by the Clippers in Los Angeles on Friday. The good news for Booker is that he was able to rest in the fourth quarter, finishing with just 18 points in 28 minutes.

The Nuggets have attempted to address last season’s defensive struggles, swapping out Michael Porter Jr. for Cameron Johnson in hopes of tightening up their efficiency. However, they still allowed 120 points in regulation to Golden State and another 17 in overtime, showing that their defensive issues remain unresolved. That creates an ideal environment for Booker to exploit his scoring opportunities.

Expect him to shoulder another massive workload on Saturday. With his usage, efficiency, and Denver’s defensive gaps, Booker is well-positioned to go over 25.5 points.

Top Value Props & Sleeper Picks

Betting on superstars is always exciting, but the best value often lies on the margins of a roster. Role players and emerging contributors can offer hidden edges, especially as the season wears on and injuries start to shake up rotations.

Let’s dive into some of the top value plays for today’s NBA slate.

Matas Buzelis over 15.5 Points (-115 DK)

With Coby White sidelined to start the season, the Bulls need another scorer alongside Josh Giddey and Nikola Vucevic. Enter 21-year-old Matas Buzelis, who built on a strong preseason by scoring 21 points in the opener — second-most on the team — while shooting efficiently and hitting all seven of his free throws. Even more encouraging, he led Chicago with 34 minutes, signaling that the coaching staff trusts him in a major role.

Next up is Orlando, a matchup that looks tough on paper but should offer pace-friendly conditions. After ranking last in tempo a year ago, the Magic have jumped to seventh-fastest through two games under Head Coach Jamahl Mosley’s new philosophy. That up-tempo environment suits Buzelis perfectly, giving him plenty of scoring opportunities in transition. With his confidence rising and minutes locked in, the second-year forward is a strong bet to go over 15.5 points on Saturday.

Ajay Mitchell over 11.5 Points (-108 FD)

The defending champs have opened their title defense with back-to-back double-overtime wins, but injuries continue to pile up. Their rotation remains thin, with Jalen Williams, Alex Caruso, and Isaiah Joe already ruled out for Saturday. Cason Wallace is questionable once again, and now Chet Holmgren has joined him on the injury report.

One bright spot amid the chaos has been second-year guard Ajay Mitchell. He played a limited role in the opener with Caruso and Wallace active, but when both sat in the second game, Mitchell stepped up in a big way — logging 36 minutes (28 in regulation) and providing a much-needed offensive spark. He’s cleared this point line easily in both games so far, and his strong play should earn him a steady role moving forward. He likely settles in around 20 minutes if Wallace and Holmgren both play, with upside for significantly more if either sits.

With several guards sidelined and potentially more, and an up-tempo matchup against Atlanta on deck, Mitchell has an excellent chance to go over 11.5 points once again.

Ryan Kalkbrenner over 6.5 Rebounds (-125 DK)

Hornets rookie Ryan Kalkbrenner drew the start at center in the season opener and impressed, grabbing 11 rebounds in 27 minutes during his NBA debut. The second-round pick brings a 7'1" frame and strong rebounding instincts from his time at Creighton, where he was solid on the glass. That carried over into the preseason as well, when he averaged 6.4 rebounds in five contests despite playing just 19 minutes per game.

Saturday’s matchup against Joel Embiid presents a tougher challenge, but Kalkbrenner’s size and positioning should keep him active on the boards. As long as he can avoid foul trouble and maintain a workload in the mid-20s, he’s well-positioned to clear the 6.5 rebounds line once again.
