Emeka Egbuka Expected to Miss "Some Time"
Emeka Egbuka (hamstring) is getting an MRI on Monday and is expected to miss "some time," according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. He also reported that it does not seem as bad as teammate Mike Evans' (hamstring) injury that has kept him out since Week 4. Egbuka left the game in the third quarter of Sunday's 30-19 win over the San Francisco 49ers and was ruled out later in the contest. Before exiting, Egbuka hauled in two of his four targets for 24 yards. The Buccaneers offense continues to take a massive hit offensively, with Evans, Chris Godwin (fibula), Bucky Irving (shoulder/foot), Jalen McMillan (neck), and now Egbuka all missing time. The Buccaneers have weathered the storm because quarterback Baker Mayfield has been playing at an MVP level. Still, with all of these offensive playmakers out, Mayfield will likely have to rely on Sterling Shepard, Tez Johnson, Cade Otton, and Kameron Johnson in Week 7.
