NASCAR DFS Picks (Xfinity Series): DraftKings Lineup Plays for the Focused Health 302 at Las Vegas (2025)

NASCAR XFINITY SERIES STOCK DFS PICKS

Dave's NASCAR DFS Picks (Xfinity Series) for the Focused Health 302 at Las Vegas (2025). Read his daily fantasy NASCAR advice and Xfinity DFS sleepers.

The Round of 8 has been set. After the next three races, the last four drivers left standing will compete for the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series title at Phoenix Raceway. The series makes a stop in the desert this weekend and returns to Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This will be the second Las Vegas race of 2025. Justin Allgaier won the first race at this track back in March. He will be looking for a repeat performance to punch his ticket to the Round of 4.

However, rookie sensation Connor Zilisch is seeking his 11th victory of the season. Brandon Jones, who won at Las Vegas' sister track, Kansas Speedway, a few weeks ago, will also be in the mix. We'll have to wait to see who advances to the final round of the playoffs, but we should be in store for a great weekend of racing.

Will one of the top eight drivers punch his ticket to the championship race? Or will someone outside the playoff picture play spoiler and capture the checkered flag? Let's break down some NASCAR Xfinity DFS lineup picks for the NASCAR Xfinity Series Focused Health 302 at Las Vegas on DraftKings. Also, make sure to check out our NASCAR Premium Tools for the Xfinity Series, including our DFS Lineup Optimizer and powerful Research Station. This slate locks on 10/11/25 at 7:43 p.m. EDT.

Top NASCAR Xfinity Series DFS Plays

Connor Zilisch ($12.5K)

Starts 2nd

Zilisch is fresh off his 10th victory of the season last weekend at the Roval. He now sets his sights on making the Round of 4 at Phoenix. Zilisch will also be looking to do something this weekend that he’s yet to accomplish in 2025 - win on a 1.5-mile track.

It’s not like Zilisch has been bad on the cookie cutters this year. He was runner-up two weeks ago at Kansas and finished second at Charlotte back in May. Zilisch also finished ninth in the spring Las Vegas race, but did score negative place differential points in the process.

With Zilisch being 57 points ahead of the cutoff line, he can likely make the championship race at Phoenix on points alone. However, you can be sure Zilisch will want to win this way into the finale and dispel any notion that he can't win on a cookie cutter track.

The rookie has answered the bell anytime a challenge has been thrown his way. Fire him up once again this weekend and expect his magical season to continue.

Justin Allgaier ($11.5K)

Starts 1st

Allgaier begins the Round of 8 24 points above the cutoff line. He is in a good position to defend his Xfinity Series title, but will need to post three solid finishes in this round to ensure he gets a chance to do so. Luckily for Allgaier, he has been very good on the cookie cutters so far in 2025.

Despite a disappointing 13th-place result at Kansas two weeks ago, Allgaier was still very fast and led 79 laps in that race. He also has a fourth-place finish at Charlotte in May under his belt and won the spring Las Vegas race earlier this year.

He did crash out of the Xfinity Series race at Texas and finished 35th. However, Allgaier was still plenty fast and led 99 laps in that race.

If you feel like Zilisch is a little too chalky of a play, then Allgaier should be your next man up to anchor your DFS lineups. He’s been consistently fast at the cookie cutters this year and should once again score a ton of dominator and fastest lap points.

Expect Allgaier to be in contention for the victory this weekend.

Aric Almirola ($11K)

Starts 4th

Almirola only has one top-five finish in seven career Xfinity Series starts at Las Vegas. That lone top five happened to be a second-place finish in the spring Las Vegas race earlier this year. That race is his only other start on a cookie cutter track in 2025.

It's fair if you want to fade Almirola this weekend. However, he is one of the better drivers in the field and finished runner-up here in the spring. We'll see how he qualifies before making a final call, but as of now, I learn toward including him in lineups as an alternative to Zilisch and Allgaier.

Austin Hill ($9.7K)

Starts 12th

Well, Hill’s childish decision to intentionally wreck Aric Almirola at Indianapolis came back to bite him, and he wound up missing the Round of 8. His fate was sealed last weekend at the Roval when he experienced an engine issue and posted a 28th-place finish.

Hill should bounce back this weekend as he has posted solid results on the 1.5-mile tracks so far this year. He scored top fives at Las Vegas in the spring, Texas, and Kansas. He also finished seventh at Charlotte.

Hill will be live for another top-10 finish this weekend with the potential for more.

NASCAR Xfinity Series DFS Fades

Taylor Gray ($8.7K)

Starts 8th

Gray finished second at Texas after starting 12th. However, he finished 19th at Las Vegas earlier this year and 30th at Charlotte and scored negative place differential points in both races. He did finish sixth at Kansas, but again scored negative place differential points.

Gray was fast in practice, but he just hasn’t shown enough speed at cookie cutters this year to justify a spot in lineups. Leave him in the garage this weekend.

William Sawalich ($7.8K)

Starts 11th

Sawalich hasn’t shown enough speed on the 1.5-mile tracks to recommend as a play. He did not finish inside the top 10 at Las Vegas, Texas, Charlotte, or Kansas. His best result, for DFS purposes, was a 13th-place finish at Texas after starting 35th.

After qualifying 11th, Sawalich does not offer much place differential upside. Gamers should leave him out of DFS lineups this weekend.

Mid-Tier NASCAR Xfinity Series DFS Options

Brandon Jones ($9.5K)

Starts 3rd

Jones was victorious at Las Vegas’s sister track, Kansas Speedway, two weeks ago.

He also finished sixth at Las Vegas back in the spring. Starting third, Jones could be in contention for another win tonight.

Jesse Love ($9.2K)

Starts 6th

Love finished third in the first Las Vegas race, seventh at Texas, and seventh again two weeks ago at Kansas. I like him as a potential play this weekend.

Sheldon Creed ($8.8K)

Starts 10th

Creed has top 10 finishes at Las Vegas, Charlotte, and Kansas already this year. He finished 10th at Las Vegas in the spring after starting 23rd and has four top 10 finishes in seven career Las Vegas Xfinity Series starts.

Don’t expect Creed to be in contention for the victory, but he should be live for another top 10 and be a solid mid-tier option for DFS purposes.

Ryan Sieg ($8.2K)

Starts 14th

Sieg finished seventh here in the spring after starting 20th. He also finished eighth at Texas despite starting 31st. He was a great place differential play in both races.

Sieg has also finished inside the top 10 in his last three Las Vegas starts, highlighted by a second-place finish in this race last year. He was also very fast in practice and posted the second-best lap time and second-best 1o consecutive lap average.

This is a great spot to insert Sieg into DSF lineups.

Daniel Hemric ($7.5K)

Starts 13th

Hemric has finished inside the top 10 in eight of his 11 career Xfinity Series starts at Las Vegas. He also has seven top 10s and four top fives in his last seven starts at the track.

His history at Las Vegas makes him a great play this weekend.

Corey Day ($7.6K)

Starts 19th

I'm adding Day as a target because he showed good speed in practice earlier today. He had the fastest 10-lap consecutive average during practice and could post a top 10 finish this weekend.

Trevor Bayne ($7.4K)

Starts 26th

This weekend will be Bayne’s first Xfinity Series start since 2023. He has been very good at Las Vegas in his Xfinity Series career. Bayne has six top 10s and four top fives in his six career Las Vegas starts, with an average finish of 5.3.

I’m not exactly sure what to expect from Bayne this weekend, but his track history makes him an intriguing play at this price. After qualifying 26th, Bayne becomes an interesting place differential target.

Harrison Burton ($7.2K)

Starts 20th

After Burton qualified 20th, I think he is a fine target in the price range. He finished eighth here back in the spring and posted another top 10 finish at Texas, too.

Daniel Dye ($7K)

Starts 18th

Dye scored top 15s at Las Vegas, Texas, and Kansas. He proved to be a huge value play at Kansas when he finished 12th after starting 38th.

He’s also scored two straight 12th-place finishes at Las Vegas and has scored positive place differential points each time.

NASCAR Xfinity Series DFS Value Options

Anthony Alfredo ($6.7K)

Starts 25th

Alfredo finished 12th at Texas and 18th at Las Vegas in the spring. He’s also finished inside the top 20 in seven of his eight career Xfinity Series starts at Las Vegas.

Dean Thompson ($6.3K)

Starts 23rd

Thompson has had some good runs at the cookie cutters this year. He finished 10th at Kansas and posted a fifth-place finish at Charlotte after starting 23rd. He also finished 15th earlier this year at Las Vegas after starting 28th.

Target him as a place differential play.

Kyle Sieg ($5.9K)

Starts 24th

Sieg finished 11th at Las Vegas back in March. He also finished 17th two weeks ago at Kansas. I like targeting him as a potential cheap place differential target.
