Nicolas Roy Makes Maple Leafs Debut Saturday
Toronto Maple Leafs center Nicolas Roy (lower body) will suit up for the team for the first time in Saturday's preseason game against the Montreal Canadiens. The 28-year-old has been unavailable for the previous exhibition games due to a lower-body injury. Roy moved to Toronto this offseason as part of the Mitch Marner trade to the Vegas Golden Knights. He finished his last year in Vegas with 31 points (15 goals, 16 assists) in 71 outings. Roy is set to stay on the third line with his new team, so fantasy managers shouldn't expect a boost in his productivity. On Saturday, Roy will skate with Dakota Joshua and Mattias Macelli.
