Noah Fant in Concussion Protocol
ESPN's Ben Baby reports that Cincinnati Bengals tight end Noah Fant (concussion) did not practice on Thursday and is currently in the league's concussion protocol. Fant will get an extra day to get healthy this week with the Bengals squaring off against the Denver Broncos as part of a Monday Night Football doubleheader. He'll have two more opportunities to get in at least a limited session, though it wouldn't be surprising if he were to miss Monday's contest. Despite placing third in total snaps amongst Cincinnati's tight ends, the 27-year-old leads his position in targets (14), catches (12), and yards (80). If Fant is forced to miss more time, Cam Grandy would again work in behind teammates Drew Sample and Mike Gesicki.
