Mike Evans Quickly Ruled Out Against Jets
Mike Evans (hamstring) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's Week 3 contest against the New York Jets. He exited during the fourth quarter and was initially listed as questionable before quickly being downgraded to out. At the time of his departure, he had caught four of his eight targets for 33 yards and one touchdown. Tampa Bay has plenty of talent on the offensive side of the ball, but Evans is arguably the Bucs' most reliable playmaker, so losing him is a tough blow. Until he can return, Ryan Miller and Sterling Shepard will earn more targets alongside Emeka Egbuka. The team could also get a major boost next week if Chris Godwin (ankle) returns.
