Alec Pierce Won't Return Following Concussion Diagnosis
Alec Pierce (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's Week 3 contest against the Tennessee Titans. He exited after an incomplete pass downfield that resulted in Pierce's head violently banging off the turf. The 25-year-old finishes Sunday's game with four receptions for 67 yards through the air. He will now enter concussion protocol, raising immediate concerns about his Week 4 availability. The Colts play against the Los Angeles Rams next Sunday, giving Pierce just one week to recover and clear protocol. Ashton Dulin and Adonai Mitchell should command additional targets behind Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs.
