ANALYSIS: Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman struggled to find consistency in his debut campaign but appears to have taken a significant step forward in his second season. As a rookie, the former second-round pick caught just 29 passes for 556 yards and four touchdowns.
While he struggled to reduce weekly, he flashed high upside as a deep threat in the Buffalo offense. Through the first two games of the 2025 season, this elite playmaking ability has begun to show once again.
During their thrilling comeback victory over the Ravens in Week 1, Coleman led the way as he caught eight of his 11 targets for 112 yards and a touchdown. He caught two passes for more than 20 yards and saw three targets within the red zone. In Week 2, the Bills did not have to rely on their passing attack as they easily defeated the Jets, which limited Coleman to just three catches (Three targets) for a total of 26 yards.
However, facing the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night, who showed some life on the offensive side of the ball in Week 2, could force the Bills to rely on their passing attack. Through two games, the Dolphins have done well in limiting opposing WRs as they have allowed the 12th-fewest PPR points. However, in Week 1, Michael Pittman Jr. enjoyed a productive outing, catching six passes for 80 yards and a score.
Given Coleman's role as Josh Allen's top deep threat, he carries high-end WR3/FLEX value in all 10-12 team formats in this matchup. If the Dolphins can produce on offense, Coleman could be in store for another busy evening.
