Minnesota Vikings safety Harrison Smith (illness) is inactive for Sunday's Week 2 contest against the Atlanta Falcons. He had been limited in practice this week but ultimately will not play. This is the second game in a row for which Smith has been sidelined, which means his season debut will have to wait at least one more week.
