Russell Wilson Throws for 450 Yards, Three Touchdowns in Loss
Russell Wilson came ready to prove the doubters wrong during Sunday's matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. After a lackluster season opener, there was some speculation that Wilson would be benched in favor of rookie Jaxson Dart. The Giants stuck with Wilson and he gave them a great bounce back performance on Sunday. Wilson completed 30-of-41 passing attempts for 450 yards, with three touchdowns, and one interception in the overtime loss. Everything was going Wilson's way until he threw what looked like a miscommunication interception to end the game. The Giants did lose this game, but this performance should keep the heat off Wilson for a little longer. We'll see if he can carry this momentum into next week's matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs.
