Emeka Egbuka - Fantasy Football Start 'Em, Sit 'Em Picks for Week 2 (2025)

Emeka Egbuka - Fantasy Football Rankings, Rookie Rankings, WR Sleepers

Emeka Egbuka fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 2 (2025). Should you start or sit Emeka Egbuka for fantasy football lineups?

BALLER MOVE: Start in all leagues

POSITIONAL VALUE: Upside WR2/WR3

ANALYSIS: Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Emeka Egbuka joined a crowded room after being selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. However, with Chris Godwin (ankle) still working through his recovery and Jalen McMillan (neck) sidelined for the foreseeable future, Egbuka was able to open the 2025 season as the team's No. 2 option.

The top WR prospect impressed in his NFL debut as he caught four of his six targets for 67 yards and two scores. One of these was the game-winning touchdown. Despite playing with an alpha wide receiver, Mike Evans, Egbuka was able to emerge as a trusted option for Baker Mayfield.

While Godwin has returned to practice and could potentially be cleared to play in this game, he will likely be very limited, which will allow Egbuka to continue to operate as the team's No. 2 WR.

This weekend, he will face the Houston Texans, who allowed the seventh-most PPR points to opposing WRs during the opening week. Playing in a dome (in Houston), the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense should be in a great position to light up the scoreboard, facing a weak secondary.

Egbuka should be viewed as a solid WR2 in all formats and is a must-start. Even if Godwin were to turn the corner and suit up, Egbuka would still carry high-end value in this potentially high-scoring affair.
