Logan Henderson Recalled, Starting Sunday
Logan Henderson from Triple-A Nashville. He'll take the roster spot of righty Jacob Misiorowski (leg). The Brewers placed Misiorowski on the 15-day injured list with a left tibia contusion, retroactive to July 31. Henderson will start Sunday against the Washington Nationals in his first appearance in the majors since May 25. The 23-year-old rookie made the first four starts of his career early in the season and thrived, going 3-0 with a 1.71 ERA, a 0.95 WHIP, and 29:6 K:BB over 21 innings. Henderson has been the odd man out of a crowded Brewers rotation since then, but he'll have a chance to make a case for a spot in Misiorowski's absence. He has a favorable matchup Sunday against a Washington offense that ranks 19th in the majors in runs scored and 24th in wOBA versus righties (.310).
