Dylan Crews Not Yet Ready for Rehab Assignment
Dylan Crews (oblique) is participating in all baseball activities without any issues, but the team isn't ready to send him on a rehab assignment yet, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports. Washington is taking a careful approach with the 23-year-old, who went on the 10-day injured list with a strained left oblique on May 20. The Nats have since transferred him to the 60-day IL, though Crews is now eligible for activation at any time. Whenever he comes back this year, the former second overall pick (2023) will try to improve on a disappointing start to 2025. Crews hit just .196/.266/.354 with seven homers, 15 RBI, 24 runs scored, and 11 stolen bases in 173 plate appearances before he went on the IL.
