Dylan Crews Not Yet Ready for Rehab Assignment
Injured Washington Nationals outfielder Dylan Crews (oblique) is participating in all baseball activities without any issues, but the team isn't ready to send him on a rehab assignment yet, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports. Washington is taking a careful approach with the 23-year-old, who went on the 10-day injured list with a strained left oblique on May 20. The Nats have since transferred him to the 60-day IL, though Crews is now eligible for activation at any time. Whenever he comes back this year, the former second overall pick (2023) will try to improve on a disappointing start to 2025. Crews hit just .196/.266/.354 with seven homers, 15 RBI, 24 runs scored, and 11 stolen bases in 173 plate appearances before he went on the IL.
