Patrick Reed Trying To Repeat Masters Success At PGA Championship
Patrick Reed has only played one PGA tournament this year. The American golfer gained a wildcard to enter The Masters. Naturally, Reed almost won the event. He finished T-3 and finished an impressive 69-69 given the conditions and his form. Reed plays on the LIV tour and it can be challenging to equate LIV stats to the PGA. However, he drives the ball 304.8 yards and averages a respectable 1.61 putts per hole. Reed has not won a PGA event since the 2021 Farmers Insurance Open. Bettors forget he won the 2018 Masters sometimes. Quail Hollow is a course that forces a golfer to drive the ball long and accurate. Risk and reward is something which could make Reed an excellent DFS option again.
