Kyle Larson of Hendrick Motorsports was one of the top performers on Sunday's Wurth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway. Larson began Sunday's race in the fourth position and during the first stage, ran inside the top five the whole time. Although he competed for the second position, he never made it to the lead in the first stage and ended in fourth, scoring stage points. In the second stage, Larson ran second behind Josh Berry until he spun and crashed on lap 121. From there, Larson dominated the rest of the second stage after gaining the lead from Todd Gilliland, winning the stage and the stage points included. In the final stage, Larson first fell behind after pit stops during the stage break, but regained the lead on lap 190 from his teammate William Byron. Through further pit stops after several accidents, Larson lost the lead and fought for a top-5 position. Larson ended the race in fourth and scored his first top-5 finish at Texas since his 2021 victory at the site.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
