Charlotte Hornets center Isaiah Wong has been waived by the organization. The 24-year-old was averaging 6.0 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.4 assists across 13 minutes per game in 20 contests while playing on a two-way deal. The Hornets didn't exactly need Wong anymore after the addition of Jusuf Nurkic at the trade deadline. Wong wasn't bringing enough to the table to warrant keeping him on the roster. He's set to become a free agent once he clears waivers. The second-year big man should hopefully get another chance to catch on elsewhere.--Andy Webb
