Washington Capitals goaltender Logan Thompson posted his second-straight shutout on Thursday evening against the Ottawa Senators. Thompson stopped all 24 shots he faced, which set up Alexander Ovechkin's overtime game-winner. Thompson has not allowed a goal in each of his previous two starts and is riding a three-game winning streak. Over his past five games, Thompson holds a 4-1 record and has only allowed three or more goals in one. During this stretch, he has posted an impressive .961% SV and a 1.05 GAA. Through 25 games, Thompson has posted a 20-2-3 record with a .924% SV and a 2.13 GAA. The 27-year-old should continue to see the majority of starts in the Washington crease, with Charlie Lindgren (upper body) still on the injured reserve.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
