San Jose Sharks defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic (back) will make his season debut on Thursday against Tampa Bay. He has received the all-clear to play after recovering from a back problem. Vlasic's addition will push Shakir Mukhamadullin out of the lineup. He will join Jan Rutta on the third defensive pairing. Vlasic has been a solid defenseman throughout his 18 years in the NHL, but his play has never really translated well into fantasy hockey. Last season, Vlasic finished with 12 points (six goals, six assists), 72 shots, and 108 blocks in 57 outings.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
