Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown has enjoyed two fantastic seasons in a row, finishing as the WR6 and WR5 in PPR fantasy scoring in 2022-2023.
Brown got off to another hot start in 2024, catching five passes for 119 yards and a touchdown against the Packers in Week 1. Brown had a highlight reel touchdown catch-and-run and looked to be in peak form yet again.

Will A.J. Brown Play In Week 2?
UPDATE: A.J. Brown has officially been ruled OUT for Week 2
Brown is dealing with what Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni described as "a little tightness" in his hamstring. He missed practice on Saturday, presumably due to said hamstring issue.

It's not yet known if Brown will miss Monday night's game. He is listed as "Questionable" on the injury report. However, a full DNP designation for Saturday's practice is a red flag. It's an indication that the injury is bad enough that the Eagles thought practice would be too risky and could cause re-aggravation or worsening.
Hamstring injuries are notoriously fiendish to deal with, and Brown missing practice due to this type of injury is unsettling. Even if the worst happens (Week 2 wise) and he rests up on Monday, he may not be out of the woods for a while. If Brown is on any of your fantasy teams, you may want to stay updated on the situation.
A.J. Brown Week 2 Fantasy Football Outlook
Brown is an elite wide receiver. He's one of the best against single coverage in the NFL today. Teams absolutely cannot trust a single DB to stop him, and he's top-tier when facing single coverage.

Brown is always a must-start when he plays, even if he's listed on the injury report. He's capable of putting up big games any time he steps on the field and is the priority target for quarterback Jalen Hurts. Brown is virtually superhuman most of the time he's on the field.

As with many top-of-the-line elite players, one of the few things that can hold back Brown is injury, and it remains to be seen how severely his current hamstring injury is impacting him. He's a potential league-winner though, and on weeks he steps on the field it's a mistake if he's not stepping into your starting lineups as well.
