DraftKings Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Jeff Dowtin, PG – PHI ($6.9K)

Jeff Dowtin has emerged as the leader of the Philadelphia 76ers Summer League team and continues to provide support through the games. Dowtin is coming off of a poor shooting night versus the Minnesota Timberwolves, but he regained his composure. He closed out the game by scoring five of the last seven points for the Sixers to get the win. Before that game, Dowtin was able to record 34.8 and 35.5 DK points in their first two games. He has been able to score, recording 18, 17, and 17 points through the first three games. On top of that, he has been a passing machine, recording eight assists in the first two games before the somewhat poor night versus Minnesota. The 76ers third-year guard comes in at a reasonable price tag allowing us to pay up with other big names on this slate.

Zavier Simpson, PG/SG - CHA ($6.7K)

The Charlotte Hornets guard, Zavier Simpson, has been able to showcase his talent pretty well and that's due to receiving 30 or more minutes per game this Summer League. Simpson is averaging 1.06 DK points per minute, making him a great target at $6.7K. The downside to him may be the turnovers which have been shaky so far through the first three games. He had five in the first game versus the New York Knicks and zero against the Denver Nuggets before recording three against Boston. Other than that, he is a shooting machine and is not afraid of letting his shot go. The guard is 16-for-41 from the field while minimizing his three-pointer so far this summer.

Brandin Podziemski, SG - GSW ($9K)

Brandin Podziemski comes in at top dollar the second-year guard deserves to be so. Podziemski has been dominating scoring-wise, recording 16 points in his first game and 21 in his second. He also was able to record a double-double versus Chicago, recording 21 points with 12 rebounds while notching seven assists with one steal. However, his turnovers are also something to monitor. While he has been playing well, he recorded seven turnovers versus Chicago and three versus Phoenix. The Warriors guard will bring in some of the heavier ownership but rightfully so as he has been able to dominate in the Summer League.

Also Consider: Daniss Jenkins ($4.9K), Jamal Shead ($5.3K), Duane Washington Jr. ($6.1K)

DraftKings Forwards/Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks

Kel'el Ware, C - MIA ($8.8K)

Kel'el Ware has a strong care to be the center of your lineup builds over Brandin Podziemski and for good reason. Ware has recorded a double-double in back-to-back games now, proving to be a dominant force. He is averaging 17.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.3 blocked shots, and 1.3 assists through three games while averaging 26.9 minutes. The Miami center is averaging 1.34 DK points per minute and he has only played over 30 minutes once. The big man is a monster. Pairing him with Podziemski would make lineup construction somewhat difficult but pairing him with Zavier Simpson or Jeff Dowtin would be the route to go to find a more balanced lineup build.

Jackson Rowe, SF/PF - GSW ($4.6K)

Jackson Rowe provides the salary relief that you may be looking for tonight. Rowe has been able to find his shot through his first two games in the Summer League, scoring 14 points versus Phoenix and 13 points versus Cleveland. There is a slight opportunity for a double-double bonus which he showcased versus Phoenix by barely missing out on it with just nine rebounds. He also provides defensive stats as he has already recorded five steals and one block through those two games.

Kris Murray, SF - POR ($7.5K)

Kris Murray makes for an interesting play and his ownership is the main reason. He has yet to have a game where he pays off his price tag and that may force people off of him. He recorded 16.5 DK points in his first Summer League game and followed it up with 29.5 and 27.8 DK points in the next two. Scoring-wise has been okay for Portland's forward but his rebounds are where he can shine and hopefully reach a double-double. He barely missed out in the last game versus Washington as he recorded seven points and nine rebounds.

He recorded 12 points and six rebounds versus Philadelphia in Game 2 of the league. Your exposure for Murray shouldn't be high but mixing him in with what could be a low ownership night, he could help get you around the curve for a good finish if he plays well.

Also Consider: Branden Carlson ($5.3K), Nathan Mensah ($4.9K), Justin Minaya ($6.3K)
