With the 81st overall pick in the 2024 MLB Draft, the Los Angeles Angels used their third-round selection on left-handed pitcher Ryan Prager out of Texas A&M. The four-year junior emerged as the Aggies ace after undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2022 and went 9-1 with a 2.95 ERA and 11.4 K/9 in 19 starts this past season. Prager's fastball sits in the lower 90's, but is hard to face with his deceptive delivery. The Angels have needed pitching for a long time and the hope is that Prager can finally be one of the prospects to deliver for the franchise.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBallerRead More News
