Buying and Selling FFPC Teams on Dynasty Depot in 2024

CeeDee Lamb - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Targets, NFL Injury News

Interested in adding new teams to your overall Dynasty Portfolio? Dynasty Depot is the eBay of dynasty leagues where you can buy or sell FFPC teams for a profit. Kyle Lindemann details how the website works and how you can take advantage.

For those who find themselves deeply enthralled by the intricacies of fantasy football, dynasty leagues are a godsend, ensuring the game never really goes into hibernation. Are you twiddling your thumbs during the offseason, itching for some action? Dynasty leagues have you covered. Can’t wait until August to start scheming and drafting your squads? No worries. Got your eye on a sleeper who you reckon is this year’s big breakout? Make a move and trade for them anytime you like!

This is the beauty of dynasty leagues: they’re not just a season-long commitment, they’re a year-round fantasy fest. Forget about shutting down for seven months like in those typical redraft leagues. Your managerial skills and strategic foresight are on call every day of the year as the NFL news cycle churns 365 days a year, seven days a week, and 24 hours per day.

And if you’re thinking about flipping the script entirely -- maybe cashing out on a powerhouse team you’ve built or cutting ties with a league that’s lost its luster without forfeiting your initial investment: Dynasty Depot is your ace in the hole. Whether you’re downsizing your fantasy portfolio or funding a fresh start, Dynasty Depot ensures your hard work pays off, allowing you to exit with your gains intact.

Be sure to check all of our dynasty fantasy football resources for 2025:

More About Dynasty Depot

Meet Dynasty Depot, the brainchild of dynasty diehards Nelson Verbit and Rick Taylor, who have turned their passion into a bustling marketplace. Imagine eBay, but exclusively for trading dynasty football teams on the FFPC platform -- the gold standard for serious dynasty players. The duo recognized a gaping need among the dynasty community: a year-round engagement tool. Through Dynasty Depot, enthusiasts can tap into a vibrant market of teams looking for new ownership.

One of the killer features I've come to love about Dynasty Depot is its player-specific shopping experience. Ever tried trading for a unicorn like Bijan Robinson in your run-of-the-mill dynasty league? Good luck. I once lobbed an offer of the 1.05 and two firsts from 2023, only to get a scoff in return. However, Dynasty Depot has allowed me to navigate these choppy trade waters more effectively. By perusing orphaned teams or listings that feature Robinson, I've managed to snag him at values that don’t require me to mortgage my fantasy future.

For the committed dynasty enthusiast, this platform is a godsend during the quieter months. Spot a team priced suspiciously low? I'm there, scooping it up for a quick flip and a tidy profit, often within days. Now, here's the scoop -- Dynasty Depot operates exclusively with FFPC. Yes, while you might dabble in leagues on Sleeper or My Fantasy League, FFPC’s robust guarantee on all leagues makes it a haven for secure transactions. They boast a decade-plus track record without a single league folding, ensuring your investment is as safe as a Brady fourth-quarter drive. As of the start of this year, over 1,000 teams have changed hands via Dynasty Depot. Ready to dive in? You’ll need to join the ranks at FFPC.

Membership Levels

There are three membership levels available on Dynasty Depot:

Hall of Fame: Unlimited bid/buy/sell, Dynasty Nerds #NERDHERD membership ($49.99 value), FIVE "hot box" promoted team listings, and a $35 FFPC credit (new members only).

All-Pro: Unlimited bid/buy/sell, Dynasty Nerds #NERDHERD membership ($49.99 value), and ONE "hot box" promoted team listing.

Rookie: Unlimited bid/buy/sell and In-add upgrade options.

Use promo code: "TRYDD" for a free 30-day rookie membership.

Dynasty Depot isn't just playing fair with their fees; they're practically giving away the store, keeping only a slim 10% of the profits and passing the lion's share straight back to you. Here's the kicker -- DD keeps its hands clean of the financial nitty-gritty. No handling cash, no fuss about cashouts.

When a team changes hands on DD, it zips straight to the new owner, and bam -- your profits land right back in your FFPC account, swiftly and smooth. Plus, they're all about giving back every penny, including that sweet $77 deposit that covers your second year in those $77 leagues. It's clean, it's efficient, and it’s tailored to keep dynasty wheels spinning without a hitch.

Strategies for Buying Undervalued Teams

Here's a pro tip: hone in on those squads flaunting 2+ first-round rookie picks. Why? Because now that NFL Draft season is here, those FFPC rookie drafts are going to be hotter than a jalapeno eating contest. Rookie fever? It's off the charts. And to make your scouting mission a breeze, DD's got filters galore. Just toggle to your heart's desire and pinpoint exactly the kind of team you're looking to helm. It's like having a treasure map in the world of fantasy football, and you're on the hunt for the gold.

League entry fees: $77, $100, $250, $500, $750, $1250, $2500, $5000

New $77 startups are no longer offered on FFPC but are grandfathered in at that price for existing leagues.

Format: Standard, Best Ball, Superflex, Superflex Best Ball, Tri-Flex (no Kicker or Defense), Tri-Flex Best Ball

Sort By: Newest, Expiring Soon, Entry Fee

There's also a feature available for you to favorite specific listings so you can monitor them during the time they're up for bid.

Got a powerhouse team you're looking to sell? Consider shelling out $5 for a Hot Box listing. This nifty feature catapults your team to the top of the pile, showcasing it front and center on the left side of the screen where everyone's browsing. It’s like putting your team on a billboard in Times Square -- hard to miss and sure to draw eyes! For those big-ticket teams, an extra $5 for premium visibility? A total no-brainer. Just keep in mind this $5 isn't coming back, so it’s a bit of a gamble.

Now, when you’re on the hunt to buy, zero in on the high-flyers of dynasty drafts. Think heavy hitters like Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, or a stud like Ja'Marr Chase. And if you're dipping into the "Best Ball" waters, look for teams with killer stacks.

Imagine snagging a team where Dak Prescott is tossing bombs to CeeDee Lamb -- double points, double the fun! Also, take a stroll through the recent sales to catch the going rates and strategize accordingly. Remember, every manager’s playbook is different, so comb through the details and draft your game plan with precision.

Best Ways to Sell for a Profit

When you’re ready to sell your dynasty squad on Dynasty Depot, you must lay down the groundwork. Set that reserve price the lowest you’ll go, and toss in a "Buy It Now" option if you're feeling bold. Think of it like setting a minimum bid at an art auction but for your carefully curated fantasy team. Each listing gets a spotlight for 72 hours. Post-auction, you're the boss; you can give a thumbs up or down to the highest offer, reserve met or not. But if someone hits that reserve, they’ve got 24 hours to make their move, and you can’t pull the plug on the deal.

Buyers on Dynasty Depot? They're like prospectors searching for gold in the form of draft picks. That sweet spot between the NFL Draft and rookie drafts on FFPC is like the high tide for selling, especially if you’ve got the coveted 1.01 rookie pick. Rookie fever hits its peak as new landing spots set the stage for fresh fantasy legends.

Before you slap a price tag on your team, dive into the depths of Dynasty Nerds, KeepTradeCut, or Fantasy Pros. It’s like checking the blue book before you sell your car -- you want to know what you’ve got and what the market will bear. A top-notch, youthful team with a treasure trove of draft picks? That’s the jackpot on Dynasty Depot, fetching top dollar as folks look to invest in a winning future.

Dynasty Depot Leaderboards

When you buy a team on Dynasty Depot, you'll be entered automatically into their leaderboard competition to win some additional prizes. This is an annual contest for everyone who buys a team on the Dynasty Depot site whether in Standard, Best Ball, Superflex, or Superflex Best Ball formats.

This overall contest is based on total points for the first 13 weeks of the regular season. There are four Main Event prizes and a total of 10 places are paid out.

First Place = One ticket to the FFPC Main Event ($1900 value)

Runner-Up = $500 entry fee for a new team on the FFPC site

Third Place = $250 entry fee for a new team on the FFPC site

Fourth through Seventh Place = $77 entry fee for a new team on the FFPC site

Eighth through 10th Place = One-year Hall of Fame membership on Dynasty Depot

There are a handful of rules to remain eligible for the prizes:

  1. Must maintain ownership of the purchased team through the following season
  2. Dynasty Depot membership must remain active and not elapse at any point during the season
  3. Team must be purchased in the same calendar year of the upcoming NFL season

These are all nice prizes that are handed out in addition to teams who have participated on the DD website.

Conclusion

Dynasty Depot is still the relatively new kid on the block and it's already buzzing with activity. If you're a dynasty diehard who thrives on crafting the perfect roster all year long, then there’s real cash to be pocketed over at Dynasty Depot. It’s like having an extra ace up your sleeve, giving you more wiggle room to maneuver your dynasty teams on FFPC. And let’s face it, while drafting is the rush we all crave, managing those teams week in and week out can sometimes feel like a chore.

For those of us keen on nurturing the dynasty fantasy football culture, DD is a goldmine. It’s more than just a marketplace; it’s a community enhancer, a tool that lets you flex your dynasty muscle by buying low, selling high, and continually optimizing your roster strategies. If this write-up has got you curious or if there’s anything I’ve missed, don’t hold back -- drop a comment or hit me up on X. Let’s keep this dynasty conversation rolling!
