Boston Bruins forward Pat Maroon practiced for the first time with the Bruins on Monday after the club acquired him from the Minnesota Wild at the trade deadline. The veteran remains week to week while recovering from back surgery that took place on Feb. 6. He was skating on his own prior to Monday and last played on Jan. 27 for the Wild. "I just think, for me, [I've] just got to keep going," Maroon said. "I've been out for almost 12 weeks, so I think just getting your conditioning back, getting up to speed with the group, getting some line rushes, getting some touches. Because it's a completely different game when you're just skating by yourself. Maroon has tallied four goals and 16 points in 49 games for the Wild this season.--Brenton Kemp
