Montreal Canadiens goaltender Cayden Primeau frustrated the Blue Jackets with 41 saves on Tuesday, backstopping the team to a 3-0 win with his second shutout of the season. The 24-year-old established a new franchise record for most saves in a victory by a rookie netminder. Primeau also became only the fourth rookie in Canadiens history to register shutouts in back-to-back home outings. The young goalie has been lit up multiple times this season, but his recent home performances should lift Primeau's spirits. He's gone 6-6-2 in 14 starts with the Canadiens in 2023-24, allowing 2.83 goals with a .910 save percentage.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
