CBB DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy College Basketball Picks - Today's Top Lineups (2/25/24)

Zach Edey - CBB DFS Picks, NCAA Daily College Fantasy Basketball

Today's DraftKings CBB DFS lineup picks for 2/25/24. Mike's top daily fantasy college basketball sleepers to build winning NCAA DFS lineups on DraftKings.

We have a nice Sunday slate on the horizon for today. We have eight games spaced out through the day. We have three nooners to get us started. Creighton in is Queens to take on St. John's. Maryland heads up to Jersey to take on Rutgers. SMU is in Tampa to face a dangerous South Florida team.

We start the afternoon in Ann Arbor with Purdue visiting. Florida Atlantic heads up to Memphis to take on the Pennies. Ohio State heads to East Lansing for a meeting with the Spartans. Xavier is in Milwaukee to face Marquette. We end this at The Vault with Minnesota facing Nebraska.

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 2/25/24, starting at noon EST. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the salary scale's high, middle, and lower levels. Good luck, RotoBallers.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Baylor Scheierman, Creighton ($9.4K)

That's nine consecutive games with more than 30 DraftKings points for Scheierman. In six of those, he has topped 40 DraftKings points. Scheierman played the entire game against the Johnnies in the first meeting and put up 36.5 DraftKings points despite missing 10 of his 15 shots. That was before this hot streak began. I wouldn't be shocked to see Scheierman hit 40 again.

Alijah Martin, Florida Atlantic ($7K)

Johnell Davis may be one of the best pure shooters you'll ever see, but Martin might be the most athletic wing in college right now. He's an exciting player to watch and he's not a bad shooter himself. Martin is also a beast on the boards, flying in like a pterodactyl from everywhere on the court. That keeps his floor pretty safe even if he doesn't have the upside of Davis.

Evan Mahaffey, Ohio State ($5K)

Mahaffey has been moved to a bench role in the last three games, but his production hasn't really suffered. He's still strong on the boards and a streaky scorer. When you play Mahaffey, you're hoping to load up on peripherals. He stuffs the stats sheet everywhere but points. You know I'm a sucker for guys who don't rely on points for DFS production.

Tre Holloman, Michigan State ($4.2K)

The Spartans run a lot of guys out there, so it's hard to predict who will produce and who won't. This is especially true among their guard ranks. Holloman sees consistent minutes in the low 20s and is a reliable passer. His uptick in scoring over the last fortnight is worth mentioning. It takes Holloman from a risky value to a guy who's netting 15 DraftKings points.

Also consider: Quincy Olivari, Xavier ($8.8K); Braden Smith, Purdue ($8.1K); Johnell Davis, Florida Atlantic ($7.9K); Bruce Thornton, Ohio State ($7.7K); Zhuric Phelps, SMU ($7.1K); Steven Ashworth, Creighton ($6.7K); Brice Williams, Nebraska ($6.3K); Brandon Stroud, South Florida  ($5.6K); Brandon Weatherspoon, Florida Atlantic ($5.3K); Chase Ross, Marquette ($4.7K); Jalen Smith, SMU ($4.3K)

Today's DraftKings Forwards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks

Zach Edey ($11K)

Do you take the sure 40-some DraftKings points or do you shoot for something higher? That's the question we face every time Edey is on the slate. He has at least 40 DraftKings points in seven straight games. The last team to hold him (I use that term very loosely) under that was...Michigan. It wasn't anything Michigan did, mind you. Purdue won by 32 points and rested the big guy. With Dug McDaniel available in this one, I expect Michigan to be a little more competitive. If that's true, Edey could clear 50 today.

Ryan Kalkbrenner, Creighton ($8.1K)

If you don't believe Michigan hangs around, roll with Kalkbrenner instead. He has at least 30 DraftKings points in every game this calendar year. You know what? Forget guessing about the state of Michigan's team today. Just roll Kalkbrenner in cash and forget Edey. The savings is significant and his floor is just as safe as Edey's. However, in GPP formats you might still want the ceiling of Edey. Kalkbrenner's is in the mid-40s and Edey has cleared 60 a few times.

Jamison Battle, Ohio State ($6.1K)

Battle's performance against Zach Edey defensively in the upset of Purdue earned him a start against Minnesota. Battle responded with a 21-point outing. He should start again after a performance like that. The fact that Evan Mahaffey is adjusting to bench life doesn't hurt either. Battle has scored 40 points in the last two games against Dawson Garcia and Edey. Malik Hall doesn't scare me.

Tray Jackson, Michigan ($4.2K)

Olivier Nkamhoua is still out and Will Tschetter might not play. Michigan hasn't said what's wrong with Tschetter, but Jackson should still pick up minutes regardless of Tschetter's status. Jackson had 29 efficient minutes against Northwestern earlier this week, picking up 19.75 DraftKings points. I'll take that from a value play!

Also consider: David Jones, Memphis ($9.2K); Julian Reese, Maryland ($8K); Joel Soriano, St. John's ($7.2K); Juwan Gary, Nebraska ($6.5K); Nae'Qwan Tomlin, Memphis ($5.9K); Terrance Williams II, Michigan ($5.6K); Mason Gillis, Purdue ($5K)
