NCAA teams are starting to get this television thing. Instead of packing Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday and leaving the other days barren, they have spread them out more this year. We see a lot of Pac-12 on Thursday and Friday. The Big Ten decided that Sunday was their day. It's great for the sport. More exposure means more fans, which means more money. I'm all for it! We have a fully loaded Thursday slate tonight. This is going to be a blast!
Northwestern gets going in Piscataway a bit early. Wichita State takes on East Carolina. Temple heads down to Boca for a Hooters convention. As in Owls! Get your mind out of the gutter! SMU is in N'Awlins to take on Tulane. Minnesota heads to West Lafayette to take on the real-life Paul Bunyan. Gonzaga heads down to Cali to take on Loyola Marymount. Colorado is in L.A. taking on the Bruins. Stanford heads up to Seattle to take on Washington. Cal heads up north as well, but they get the trip to Pullman. We end this in L.A. with Utah taking on the Trojans.

Today's DraftKings Guards - CBB DFS Lineup Picks
KJ Simpson, Colorado ($9.5K)
UCLA is a tough matchup on paper, but Simpson has scored at least 35 DraftKings points in five straight, topping 40 in four of those. Those games covered Utah, the Washington schools, and the Arizona schools. That's also good competition. Simpson does so much more than score. He has 35 rebounds, 30 assists, nine steals, and a block over those five games as well. There are higher ceilings out there, but Simpson is about as reliable as you can get.

Isaiah Collier, USC ($7K)
The freshman returned after missing six games last week and turned in 38 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and four steals in the two games. What minutes limit? This is the most consistent we have seen Collier all season. It's hard to say it's a trend after just two games, but his price is low enough to buy in GPP formats to see if he can keep this up. After all, this is a different USC team than when he was injured in early January.
Dylan Andrews, UCLA ($6.3K)
Something clicked with Andrews after the loss to Arizona on January 20. In the five games since, Andrews has 84 points, 18 rebounds, 20 assists, and seven steals. Those are all numbers well above his season averages. It wasn't a bump in minutes since Andrews was playing well over 30 minutes per game anyway. Who knows what it is, but Andrews is looking for his shot more, passing the ball better, and has slashed the turnovers. Five games is enough of a sample size for me to dive in.
Hunter Erickson, Utah ($4.1K)
Erickson is occupying the role that Deivon Smith had before Rollie Worster went down. There is still no word on Worster, but it seems unlikely that he'll play tonight. That leaves some good bench minutes for Erickson. He's a solid all-around producer, picking up double-digit DraftKings points in each of the last five games. There's no upside with Smith blocking him, but Erickson is a stable value play.

Zach Edey, Purdue ($11K)
Yes, the price is out of control. No, nobody playing for Minnesota can stop him. Yes, watching Edey shoot 15 free throws per game is an extremely boring brand of basketball. No, no one else has the ceiling of Edey since he essentially leads the free world in rebounds and gets a free 10-15 points per game from the foul line. Fade at your own risk, and you almost have to use him in cash games. This is breaking Edey down to bare-bones simplicity. Let him have his fun now. The poor guy has no shot in the NBA...
Graham Ike, Gonzaga ($7.3K)
Ike plays sparingly in blowouts, which is a concern tonight. However, he did manage 29 DraftKings points against Loyola Marymount at the end of January before he departed. Ike has scored over 20 points four times in the last six games, so he is becoming a larger part of the Gonzaga offense. He mauled Kentucky over the weekend. This looks like a great opportunity for him to build on that.
Mawot Mag, Rutgers ($5.2K)
Mag has been a staple in the Rutgers lineup when they need size. They did against Maryland and Wisconsin in the last week. They will against Northwestern as well. Mag has scored in double figures in three straight games after drawing donuts against both Purdue and Penn State in 40 minutes of court time. That's right...he didn't score for the equivalent of an entire game. That has suppressed his price and makes him an intriguing value since he is scoring again.
Mason Gillis, Purdue ($4.7K)
Gillis is Edey lite. Well...lite generally implies half of something. What's a third? Welterweight? So, Gillis is Edey's welterweight. He's about a third of his price and around a third of his production. Gillis relies a little bit more on points for value than I would like, especially when he doesn't live at the line like Edey does. However, Gillis is a good shooter and strong on the boards. He's a solid value play for the price, and it never hurts to have a piece of Purdue's bench in case they blow the doors off the Gophers. Just like at Hassan Diarra last night.
