A.J. Brown Injury Update

A.J. Brown suffered a knee injury during last week's loss to the New York Giants. There was word that the injury was not believed to be a serious one, but the star receiver has yet to return to the practice field. With the Eagles taking on the Buccaneers on Monday night, there are no official injury designations for the game at this time.

Brown is one of the few players on the Eagles who does not need to practice to play, and the team could be electing to hold him out until the final practice of the week, which is held on Saturday. However, the 26-year-old is in serious danger of missing Philadelphia's first (and potentially only) playoff game. DeVonta Smith has been a full participant this past week after missing Week 18 with an ankle injury and will be the top target if Brown is out.

Jaylen Waddle Injury Update

Jaylen Waddle suffered an ankle injury in Week 16 against the Dallas Cowboys and has yet to return to the field. The 25-year-old has put in practice time this week on a limited basis. Miami has officially listed him as questionable for Saturday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Dolphins are going to need all the help they can get this weekend to topple the Chiefs in Arrowhead, but if Waddle does suit up, he will likely be playing at less than 100%. If you factor in the terrible weather that is set to touchdown in Kansas City and affect the passing game, it makes Waddle a risky option in DFS at his price point.

Gabe Davis Injury Update

Gabe Davis suffered a knee injury in the Bills' regular season finale win over the Miami Dolphins last weekend. The 24-year-old has not been able to participate in practice this past week and was officially ruled out by head coach Sean McDermott on Friday for Buffalo's Wild Card matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

If the Bills advance this weekend, Davis will need to find his way back onto the practice field to have a shot at suiting up next week. Stefon Diggs should see the majority of targets, with tight end Dalton Kincaid coming in as a close second. James Cook will likely see his role as a receiver increase as well, with Trent Sherfield and Deonte Harty filling in for Davis. Neither are great options for DFS due to the role being likely split.

Christian Watson Injury Update

Christian Watson has been out of action since Week 14 due to a hamstring injury that he suffered the week prior. The second-year receiver returned to the practice field last week but was held out of the Packers' regular-season finale. Watson has again been a limited practice participant this past week and is officially questionable for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Green Bay's receiver corps is as healthy as it has been all season, with Watson being the only key weapon that may miss Sunday's game. With that said, if active, the 24-year-old will be a massive boost for the Packers against a stiff Dallas secondary. Watson has been boom-or-bust for most of the season but was on a three-game touchdown streak before he went down with the injury. He will be a sneaky good option in DFS if active.

Noah Brown Injury Update

Noah Brown has been dealing with a back injury over the past few weeks and sat out of the Texans' season finale against the Indianapolis Colts last weekend. The 28-year-old was only able to put in one limited practice this past week, but the Texans gave him the questionable tag on their final injury report heading into the weekend.

Robert Woods (hip) is also listed as questionable, and both are considered game-time decisions. It puts the Texans in a tough spot against one of the league's best defenses in Cleveland. Nico Collins is going to do the majority of the heavy lifting on Saturday and will be a hot addition to many DFS lineups over the weekend. Brown will be a good buy at his price point if active but should be considered nothing more than a boom-or-bust flex.

Robert Woods Injury Update

Robert Woods has been hampered by a hip injury this season and was sat out of the Texans' season finale against the Indianapolis Colts last week. The veteran put in two limited practice sessions this week and was officially listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Cleveland Browns.

Noah Brown (back) is also listed as questionable, and both players are considered to be game-time decisions. Woods is the more likely of the two to play this weekend, but he is not a great fantasy option for those playing in DFS tournaments. Nico Collins is the only reliable Texans receiver and is going to be a hot commodity for many fantasy managers despite the tough matchup.

Kadarius Toney Injury Update

Kadarius Toney has been missing since Week 16 due to hip and ankle injuries. The 24-year-old was able to put in limited practice participation all week and was officially listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Miami Dolphins on Kansas City's final injury report.

Even if active, Toney is incredibly tough to trust after a tumultuous 2023 campaign riddled with drops and little to no production. Justyn Ross (hamstring) could miss this game, but because his role is so minimal, his absence wouldn't be a big boost for Toney's potential target share. Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce are the only two Chiefs receivers that should be in DFS lineups this weekend.

Cedric Tillman Injury Update

Cedric Tillman suffered a concussion during the Browns' season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals. The second-year receiver has yet to return to the practice field and is still in the league's concussion protocol. The Browns officially ruled him out of Saturday's game against the Houston Texans on Thursday.

Tillman had seen his usage rise over the back half of the regular season, but he will miss this weekend's Wild Card matchup against the Texans. There is a chance that he will return next week if the Browns advance past Houston. Amari Cooper, Elijah Moore, and David Njoku remain the clear DFS options for fantasy managers out of Cleveland.

Justyn Ross Injury Update

Justyn Ross was listed as a non-participant in practice this past Tuesday due to a hamstring injury. The 24-year-old was able to finish the week with two limited practice sessions and is listed officially as questionable for Saturday's game against the Miami Dolphins.

Ross saw his usage rise last week with multiple starters sitting out but he will revert back to a limited role this weekend if active. No Chiefs receiver outside of Rashee Rice and Travis Kelce should be in any DFS lineup this weekend, especially with the weather conditions being unfavorable for the passing game.
