Buffalo Sabres forward Jeff Skinner is out week to week with an upper-body injury. Skinner suffered the injury during Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Seattle Kraken. He skated 15:42 in the contest and logged a goal and an assist on three shots before his injury. It's been a nice season for the veteran who has tallied 17 goals and 33 points on the season, second-most on the Sabres behind center Casey Mittelstadt. It's the second time this season that Skinner has missed time with an upper-body ailment as he missed three games in mid-December following a hard hit by Avalanche superstar Nathan MacKinnon. Fantasy owners should simply set Skinner on the IR instead of cutting ties altogether.--Brenton Kemp
