DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks For 12/1/23 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

Today's DraftKings college basketball DFS lineup picks for 12/1/23. Mike Marteny's CBB daily fantasy advice and lineup sleepers to help you win on DraftKings.

Are you enjoying the extra college basketball content here at RotoBaller? I'm enjoying bringing it to you! There are only seven games tonight, but wow, is this slate loaded! I wish that the scheduling was like this during conference season! We have a showdown from the start of the night with Houston heading to Cincinnati to take on Xavier. It only gets better!

The Johnnies head from Brooklyn down to Morgantown. George Washington heads to Columbia to take on the Gamecocks. Maryland heads to Bloomington for an early conference tilt. Iowa State heads to Chicago to take on DePaul. Chicago is a happening place as Purdue heads to the north suburbs to take on Northwestern. We end this with the big one. UConn heads to Lawrence to take on Kansas. How's that for a slate!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/1/23, starting at 6:30 PM Eastern. I’ll provide multiple player suggestions at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Tristen Newton, Connecticut ($9,600)

Newton followed up his triple-double last week with another double-double against New Hampshire earlier this week. For those saying that he won't get a triple-double against Kansas, don't be so sure. Newton logged a triple-double against a ranked Marquette team last year. The floor is really high on Newton, especially in competitive games as this one promises to be. Newton put up 50.75 DraftKings points on Indiana earlier this season.

James Bishop IV, George Washington ($8,100)

The LSU transfer has been money for the Colonials in all but the first game. Bishop has scored 78 real points in the last three games alone while providing 15 assists, three steals, and five rebounds. He might be the best pure scorer on the entire slate and is an underrated passer. Bishop doesn't get the boards that Newton does, but few guards do.

LJ Cryer, Houston ($7,300)

The Baylor transfer has fit right in with the Cougars. He is getting a lot of shots within the flow of the offense. Cryer was cold to start the season, but he has shot better than 40% in four of the last five games, including at least 40% from downtown in all of those games. Houston is going to need Cryer's scoring against a pesky Xavier squad. 25 DraftKings points feel like the floor for Cryer right now.

Ty Berry, Northwestern ($5,600)

Brooks Barnhizer has gone cold over the last couple of games. It has been Berry that is picking up the slack. Perry has 41 points in the last three games with 11 rebounds, three assists, and a staggering 12 steals. In three games! Berry is an efficient scorer and one of the more pesky perimeter defenders in the Big Ten. This is not an ideal matchup against Purdue, but I feel like the risk is baked into the price.

Also consider: Kevin McCullar, Kansas ($8,800); Tamin Lipsey, Iowa State ($8,600); Jamal Shead, Houston ($7,500); Desmond Claude, Xavier ($7,200); Meechie Johnson, South Carolina ($6,700); RJ Luis, St. John's ($5,700); Trey Galloway, Indiana ($4,600); Jacobi Wright, South Carolina ($3,700)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Hunter Dickinson, Kansas ($10,000)

The only team that has been able to stop Dickinson in a Kansas uniform is Marquette. By "stopping" him, they held him to 31.5 DraftKings points. Dickinson has at least 50 DraftKings points in the other four of the last five games. The preseason gauntlet for Kansas continues and UConn doesn't have Adama Sanogo to deal with Dickinson this year. He's a walking 20-10 double-double in competitive games this year.

Julian Reese, Maryland ($8,200)

Reese has been outstanding for the Terrapins lately. He has three consecutive double-doubles with at least 15 points and 12 rebounds in each one. This is a tougher matchup against Indiana, but Reese's ability to get to the line should keep his scoring up. The rebounds could be tough against Indiana's size, but Reese has the athleticism to be an equalizer.

Matthew Nicholson, Northwestern ($5,300)

Nicholson is likely the guy to be tasked with dealing with Zach Edey. He played very well last game, and if he can continue scoring while playing defense on Purdue's big, Nicholson could be in for a nice stat line. Nicholson has been a solid producer in every game in which he hasn't landed in foul trouble. That could happen with Edey, but Nicholson is a decent option in large-field GPPs if he can stay on the court.

Ofri Naveh, West Virginia ($4,600)

Naveh has been a defensive stalwart as a freshman, which has kept him on the court. That could change once Akok Akok is cleared to make his West Virginia debut, but for now, Naveh is playing nearly 30 minutes in every game and logging solid stat lines. We can do a lot worse than a consistent 15-20 DraftKings points at this price.

Also consider: Zach Edey, Purdue ($11,000); Kel'el Ware, Indiana ($9,000); Donovan Clingan, Connecticut ($7,500); B.J. Mack, South Carolina ($7,100); Jordan Geronimo, Maryland ($4,500); Sasa Ciani, Xavier ($3,500)
