Stuart Skinner Posts First Shutout Of Season

Edmonton Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner made 25 saves and posted his first shutout of the season in Friday's 5-0 victory against the Capitals. Skinner had a bounce back performance after a pair of losses to the Lightning and Hurricanes in his recent starts, as the goaltender took advantage of the matchup against the low-scoring Capitals to post his third career shutout in the NHL. Skinner's productive game lowers his season totals to a 3.37 goals against average and .875 save percentage through 14 appearances as the starting goaltender on an underperforming Oilers team.
