NFL DFS Week 10 Picks: Top DraftKings Plays for Daily Fantasy Include Jared Goff, Bijan Robinson, DeAndre Hopkins, Sam LaPorta

Bijan Robinson - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Rookies, Draft Sleepers

Joe Nicely's top NFL DFS Week 10 picks and DraftKings lineup sleepers (2023). His top DraftKings daily fantasy football plays and NFL DFS lineups advice.

Welcome back RotoBallers to our DraftKings DFS Break The Slate article, where we break down out top NFL DFS Week 10 picks for DraftKings contests. The NFL season continues to roll along and it's hard to fathom that we're already discussing Week 10! The slate is an interesting one, as some of the game's biggest DFS superstars are either on byes or off the Main Slate. Toss in some injury concerns for several talented players and we've got ourselves an environment for volatility.

This week's DraftKings lineup recommendations are based on matchups, projected DK points and ownership, overall upside/talent levels, and opportunity, as well as factors such as Vegas odds, home-field advantage, and more. By leaning into our research, I think we've identified some strong DFS options for Week 10.

Also, be sure to check out our weekly FanDuel DFS lineup picks and lots of other great NFL DFS articles and NFL DFS tools to help you win big! Good luck with your DraftKings DFS lineups -- let's dominate this slate together!

DraftKings Quarterbacks - Week 10 DFS Picks

Jared Goff - DET @ LAC ($6,400)

Simply put, this Detroit vs. L.A. game environment is one I want exposure to on this week's tricky Main Slate. While I normally only target Jared Goff in home games, SoFi Stadium's cozy confines are a good enough stand-in for Detroit's Ford Field for me to have interest in this spot.

This matchup features the highest projected point total on the Main Slate (48.5), a tight spread (DET -3), and two of the NFL's top-10 offenses. While David Montgomery's return to action makes predicting the Detroit backfield a dicey proposition, we know what we're getting with Goff, who has already thrown for 2,174 yards and 12 TDs across his first eight games of the season.

He draws a juicy matchup against a Chargers defense that -- despite looking good in their two most recent games against the Jets and Bears -- has still allowed the NFL's second-most passing yards (2,508) and second-most DraftKings points per game to opposing QBs (22.6).

Will Levis - TEN @ TB ($5,300)

The rookie's DFS output has been unsurprisingly volatile since he earned his first NFL snaps two weeks ago. Levis looked superhuman while throwing for 238 yards and four TDs in his regular-season pro debut against the Atlanta Falcons, but appeared mortal in a Week 9 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

We can expect these peaks and valleys performances to continue for Levis, which puts him in the "GPP Only" category this week, but I'm interested in the upside the Titans rookie brings to the table in this matchup against a pass-funnel Tampa Bay defense. In his two starts, Levis has already shown explosive DFS upside by completing 10 passes of 20-plus yards, which is the second-most in the NFL over the last two weeks.

The Bucs are fresh off an honest-to-goodness torching at the hands of C.J. Stroud, as they allowed the Texans rookie to throw for a ridiculous 470 yards and five TDs in Week 9. It's nothing new for this regularly-toasted Tampa Bay secondary that's now allowed opposing QBs to throw for 250 or more yards in four consecutive weeks and stands 30th in the NFL in yards allowed per attempt (7.90) to the quarterback position.

MORE TOP QB PLAYS: Joe Burrow ($6,800); Baker Mayfield ($5,100)

DraftKings Running Backs - Week 10 DFS Picks

Tony Pollard - NYG @ DAL ($7,300)

One of fantasy football's biggest disappointments thus far in 2023, Tony Pollard skulks into Week 10 averaging a career-low 4.0 yards per carry with just one game of over 100 rushing yards on his game log this season.

Despite Pollard's disappointing output, he's still the undisputed king of this Dallas backfield. He sports a gargantuan snap share of nearly 70% with his red zone usage standing out as elite. Pollard's 40 total opportunities inside the 20-yard line are tied with Christian McCaffrey for the second-most in the NFL this season.

He draws a slump-busting matchup against a raggedy New York Giants front that's been routinely pummeled into submission by opposing running backs. The G-Men have allowed the league's third-most rushing yards (985) and rushing TDs (10) to the RB position in 2023. In a game that the Cowboys should control, this offense will likely be content to lean on Pollard in an attempt to get him going.

Bijan Robinson - ATL @ ARI ($6,000)

I draw a blank when I try to come up with a man who's more hated by the fantasy football community than Falcons head coach Arthur Smith. Arrogant and stubborn aren't exactly a winning combination, and Smith's squad has now lost two straight and three of their last four thanks in part to his refusal to utilize dynamic rookie running back Bijan Robinson.

There's no guarantee that Robinson will be turned loose this week by the hard-headed Smith -- who are we kidding, he probably won't -- but it's nonetheless a strong "buy low" spot to bet on the rookie's talent in what's a dream matchup against the abysmal Arizona Cardinals.

While Smith continues to give high-value red zone work to Tyler Allgeier at a frustratingly frequent level, it must be noted that Robinson owned a clear-cut advantage in Atlanta's overall snap share last week, garnering 61% of the snaps to Allgeier's 35%. Though it's not the usage that we want, it might be enough for Robinson to capitalize on against a Cardinals unit that's relinquishing an average of 138 yards per game to opposing running backs.

MORE TOP RB PLAYS: Christian McCaffrey ($9,200); Aaron Jones ($6,500)

DraftKings Wide Receivers - Week 10 DFS Picks

Ja'Marr Chase - HOU @ CIN ($8,600)

This tough Week 10 slate continues at the WR position, as the absence of DFS studs like Tyreek Hill, Stefon Diggs, and A.J. Brown leaves things a little thinner than normal. Cincinnati's Ja'Marr Chase stands out as my favorite spend-up option this week, but even Chase comes with some concerns, as he missed practice on Wednesday before getting in a limited session on Thursday due to back soreness.

You'll want to monitor the situation closely, but assuming Chase is a full go, there's a lot to like about this scenario. With Cincy's WR2 Tee Higgins already ruled out for this matchup against Houston, Chase will get all the targets he can handle in this one.

While Higgins was sidelined in Week 5, Chase absolutely cooked the Arizona Cardinals for 55.2 DraftKings points, dropping an eye-popping 192 yards and three TDs on 19 targets from Joe Burrow. He's historically thrived against zone coverage such as the Texans' defense deploys and Higgins' absence will only accelerate his already-elite 31.4% team target share. If he's healthy, he should smash in this spot.

DeAndre Hopkins - TEN @ TB ($6,000)

As touched on when discussing Will Levis at the QB position, this Tampa Bay secondary is a unit we want to target. Already struggling to slow down opposing wideouts and allowing a massive 9.72 yards per target to the WR position, the Bucs could potentially be without the services of two starting cornerbacks against Tennessee, as both Jamel Dean and Carlton Davis are currently on Tampa Bay's Week 10 injury report.

Whether Davis and/or Dean suit up or not, veteran Titans receiver DeAndre Hopkins is in a position to succeed. D-Hop's production had been rather muted in his first season in Nashville, but the insertion of Will Levis into the lineup has injected some juice into the veteran's performance across Tennessee's last two.

Hopkins has been the apple of the rookie's eye, drawing a 27.3% first-read share with Levis under center. It's resulted in 17 combined targets in the last two weeks and 188 total yards with three TDs.

MORE TOP WR PLAYS: Keenan Allen ($8,800); Amon-Ra St. Brown ($8,200); Tank Dell ($5,500)

DraftKings Tight Ends - Week 10 DFS Picks

Sam LaPorta - DET @ LAC ($5,700)

LaPorta's sensational rookie campaign will resume in L.A. following Detroit's Week 9 bye. The Iowa product has immediately put himself in the "elite tight end" conversation while smashing the conventional thinking that rookie TEs can't succeed early in their careers.

His quick ascension has been aided by Detroit's lack of legitimate pass-catching talent behind Amon-Ra St. Brown. LaPorta has garnered an elite 21.5% team target share, which trails only St. Brown in this year's Lions offense. He's capitalized on that volume by reeling in 43 catches for 434 yards and four TDs in 2023, all of which rank inside the top five in the NFL at the TE position.

As mentioned in the Jared Goff write-up in this article, we want DFS exposure to this potential shootout. In addition to the plus game environment, LaPorta's positional matchup is a good one. The Chargers have relinquished the NFL's second-most receptions (53) and a chunky 8.24 yards per target to the TE position this year.

Dalton Schultz - HOU @ CIN ($4,900)

This Houston vs. Cincinnati matchup possesses serious DFS upside on a Week 10 Main Slate that's largely devoid of obvious smash spots. Dalton Schultz, the former Dallas Cowboy, has formed a fast rapport with rookie QB C.J. Stroud in his first season with the Texans.

He comes into this plus matchup against the Bengals off a monster Week 9 outing in which he snagged 10 of 11 targets for 130 yards and a score in the Texans' wild win over the Bucs. Schultz has now found the paint four times this season, which is tied for the third-most TDs in the league at the TE position, and has been undoubtedly aided by his 10 red zone targets.

With the Houston receiving corps looking extremely banged up heading into Week 10, Stroud will likely lean on his talented tight end against a Bengals squad that's allowing an NFL-high 16.3 DraftKings points per game to opposing tight ends.

MORE TOP TE PLAYS: Taysom Hill ($5,100); Trey McBride ($3,500)
