Darnell Mooney, 26.5 Receiving Yards (HIGHER)
Darnell Mooney seems to be finally gaining some consistency in his play. With back-to-back weeks of having multiple receptions, he has now exceeded the 26.5 receiving yards in Weeks 6 and 7. He also had his highest target share of the season in Week 7 with 15%. With Tyson Bagent under center once again this Sunday, expect Mooney to get some targets his way. For Mooney, he has a 14.47% edge in hitting the over on his total using the Props Optimizer. He gets a shaky Los Angeles Chargers defense Sunday Night and can help open this Chicago Bears offense even more with another output like Week 7.
Tyson Bagent, 201.5 Receiving Yards (LOWER)
Tyson Bagent had a strong showing in his first start last week for the Chicago Bears. While it wasn't Patrick Mahomes-like, he played safe football. He threw 21 completions on 29 attempts for 162 passing yards with one touchdown. The Bears opted to play it safe overall and had 173 rushing yards. Expect a similar approach again. Using the Proptimizer, Bagent is projected to hit the under and at a -110 (52.38%) implied total.
Keenan Allen, 84.5 Receiving Yards (HIGHER)
Keenan Allen could be in line for some work as the Chicago Bears rank 19th versus opposing wide receivers. While he is coming off of a down performance versus the Kansas City Chiefs, he only recorded 55 receiving yards. The bright side is, that Justin Herbert will continue to target Allen who had nine in Week 6. With a target share of 31% on the season, the workload remains consistent for Allen. He is projected for 85 receiving yards and has an implied total of -112 (52.83%) to hit the over in the Proptimizer.
Austin Ekeler, 49.5 Rushing Yards (HIGHER)
Since returning from injury in Week 5, Austin Ekeler has slowly been getting things back on track. In Weeks 5 and 6, he had 14 carries in both games but only rushed for 27 yards in Week 5 and improved to 45 yards in Week 6. Coming out of the bye week for the Sunday Night game, Ekeler is projected for 60 rushing yards. He gets the boost from the Chicago Bears run defense, which currently ranks 26th in the league. They are allowing 82.3 rush yards per game and 24 carries per game. Ekeler will remain the workhorse as he held a 56% rush attempt share in Week 6 to Joshua Kelley's 26%.
