Calgary Flames defenseman Rasmus Andersson is set to have a hearing for delivering an elbow to the head of Blue Jackets forward Patrik Laine in the dying seconds of Friday's 3-1 loss in Columbus. Andersson appeared to leave his feet while making direct contact to the head of Laine with his elbow. Laine left the ice slowly and did not travel with the Blue Jackets for Saturday's game in Minnesota. Given the nature of the hit, it appears it's not a matter of if Andersson will be suspended but for how long. As a result, fantasy managers would be wise to expect an absence for the blueliner while a scour through the waiver wire would also be a prudent move at this stage.--Brenton Kemp
