Should I Start Zack Moss in Week 4? RB Fantasy Football Rankings Analysis

Zack Moss - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Should I start Zack Moss in Week 4? Our RB fantasy football rankings analysis for Zack Moss. Read the latest running back start em, sit em recommendations.

Week 4 of the 2023 NFL season is here and you've got a lot of difficult lineup decisions to make. RotoBaller's here to help make those decisions easier for you.

The Indianapolis Colts take on the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday afternoon. One lineup decision you might have is whether or not to play Colts running back Zack Moss in this contest. Is this a good matchup for him? Or should he end up on the fantasy sidelines?

Below, find analysis of whether Moss should be in your Week 4 fantasy football lineup.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

What Did Zack Moss Do In Week 3?

After missing Week 1, Zack Moss has served as the lead back for the Colts over the past two weeks. In Week 2, he had 18 carries for 88 yards and a touchdown against the Texans. Then last week against the Ravens he carried the ball 30 times, finishing with 122 yards. He also added two receptions for 23 yards and a score. Moss played 76% of the team’s offensive snaps in that game.

Zack Moss Running Back Rankings Analysis

Moss is the No. 10 RB in RotoBaller's Week 4 PPR rankings.

Player Position Rank Overall Rank Tier
Zack Moss 10 22 2

This makes him a low-end RB1 play this week according to RotoBaller's rankings team. He is trending up this week vs. where he was in Week 3's rankings.

Should I Start Zack Moss In Week 4 Fantasy Football?

Moss enters Week 4 with a tight grip on the lead back role in Indy, at least until Jonathan Taylor returns. Trey Sermon was the only other running back with a carry last week but Moss outperformed him.

His workload makes him an RB1 play this week, someone who should be in your season-long fantasy lineups. His opponent, the Baltimore Ravens, allow just the 18th-most fantasy points to opposing running backs. That adds in a little risk that suggests Moss might be worth fading in DFS. But in season-long, if he’s on your roster then he needs to be in your lineup. He’s going to get the ball.
