New York Islanders defenseman Alexander Romanov (shoulder) was on the ice Thursday as training camp started and is reportedly fully healthy. Romanov's status for camp was initially questionable after he underwent shoulder surgery in the offseason. The 23-year-old has started preparations for his second season on Long Island. Last season, Romanov had a career year offensively with 22 points (two goals, 20 assists), and he was a major presence on the defensive end with 129 blocks and 198 hits.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
