Gavin Stone Earns First Career Save
On Sunday, Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Gavin Stone secured his first save of his major league career. He effectively closed out the game by pitching the final 3 1/3 innings without allowing a single run to be scored. The 24-year-old righty gave up only one hit and issued two walks while striking out five opposing batters. Stone has pitched in seven games this season, posting a 1-0 record with a 9.45 ERA in 26/2 innings.
