Montreal Canadiens right wing Cole Caufield has announced he's fully recovered from shoulder surgery ahead of the new season. "It feels better than it did before, I can tell you that," Caufield said at the Canadiens golf tournament Monday. "So, I'm really excited, ready to go, and it feels 100 percent." Caufield's 2022-23 campaign was cut short in January by a torn labrum. He was enjoying a good sophomore season in the league before suffering the injury, posting 26 goals and 36 points in 46 games. The 22-year-old is among Montreal's biggest offensive threats and should continue where he left off in 2023-24. Hopefully, he can avoid injuries this time around.--Taavi Pailk
