Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Darren Raddysh has received a two-year extension from the team, signing a $1.95 million, two-year deal. The contract will kick in from the 2024-25 campaign when Raddysh finishes his current pact. Raddysh skated in 17 NHL games last season, posting three points (one goal, two assists) with 16 blocks and 25 hits. He had a very impressive campaign in the AHL with the Syracuse Crunch, going for 51 points (13 goals, 38 assists) in 50 outings. The 27-year-old has made just 21 career appearances in the NHL, but the Lightning clearly have faith in his ability to contribute by locking him up with an early extension.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
