Chris Daukaus Suffers Fourth Straight Knockout Loss
Chris Daukaus dropped down to light heavyweight at UFC Vegas 78 on Saturday after losing three straight fights by knockout at heavyweight. In his 205-pound debut, Daukaus was taking on Khalil Rountree, and early on, Daukaus had some success by landing a good combination and clinching Rountree. But after the two fighters separated, Daukaus got caught by a left hand that dropped him, and Rountree landed big shots on the ground, and the referee stopped the bout. With the loss, Daukaus is now on a four-fight losing skid, with all four losses coming by knockout, and he is now 4-4 in the UFC.
