Penalty Derails Christopher Bell's Race at Richmond
Christopher Bell and the No. 20 team have to be glad that the Cook Out 400 is behind them. After struggling during qualifying and starting from back in 29th-place, the No. 20 Toyota was methodically make its way through traffic on Sunday until disaster struck. Christopher Bell was hit with a speeding penalty during the race that completely derailed his day. His crew chief, Adam Stevens, tried to make a strategic call at the beginning of the final Stage but they didn't get the timely caution that they needed. Bell ultimately finished in 20th-place when the checkered flag flew. That snaps his five-race streak of top-6 finishes at Richmond Raceway, and is now his worst result at the track in seven career starts.
