After a string of solid starts, including a runner-up finish, Austin Eckroat has entered a skid. Eckroat has put together three poor performances on approach, leading to a missed cut and T65 in his last two tournaments. Eckroat is an above-average player in each statistic besides off the tee, where he's at his best. Without consistent approach play, it could be tough for Eckroat to contend. However, in 2021, Eckroat finished T16 at the 3M Open with a big week on the greens, so he is likely to at least make the cut.--Rob Rose
