A putting contest is the last place Ryan Palmer wants to be right now. Palmer has been great off the tee and on approach this season, but his short game has been a real struggle. Palmer appeared to be trending in the right direction last month, but the last two events have not been good. In one start at the Rocket Mortgage, Palmer missed the cut and lost 1.5 strokes putting. To compete this week it's going to take a lot of birdies and Palmer just isn't putting well enough right now to be worth a play.--Rob Rose
