Toronto Raptors guard Fred VanVleet is expected to opt out of his player option for next season to seek more money in free agency. According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN, the Raptors aren't sure which direction they want to go in terms of re-signing Fred VanVleet, extending Pascal Siakam, or moving VanVleet in a sign-and-trade. The undrafted 29-year-old has spent seven seasons with the Raptors and has turned himself into a high-end starting guard in the league. Other championship-contending teams would likely covet his services after averaging north of 19 points and 6 assists per game over the last three seasons.--Alex Fischbein - RotoBaller
